HENRICO, Va., and ORONO Michael Patrick Bowie, 23, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2006. He was the founder and owner of NEO Enterprises. He also was a member of DEEMI, which stands for Down East Emergency Medical Institute Search and Rescue and was trained as a helicopter crew chief. He is survived by his father, Richard Bowie; mother and stepfather, Raylene and Rick Wells; sister, Christina Coston; stepbrother, Keith Walker; grandmother, Lois Bowie; grandparents, Clark and Catherine Spain; his loving girlfriend of more than six years, Alise Sumerlin; as well as many, many loving family and friends. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the chapel with the Rev. Bob Higgins officiating. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
