CARMEL – Michael T. Demmons, 47, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 25, 2006, in Bangor. He was born Sept. 15, 1958, in Bangor, the son of Norma and Walter Demmons. He graduated from Hermon High School in 1977. He worked at Bass Shoe for several years and enjoyed working on small engines, lawn care and putting puzzles together. He is survived by his father, Walter T. Demmons of Carmel; his brothers, Steven W. Demmons and wife, Ellen, of Lyman, Donald E. Demmons of Carmel, Daniel W. Demmons Sr. of Tennessee, Gerald A. Demmons and wife, Penny, of Levant; sister, Laurie A. Stevenson and husband, Scott, of Brunswick; nieces and nephews, Travis Demmons, Mandy Rae, Adam Demmons, Corrie Young, Danny Demmons Jr., Heidi Carlisle, Kellie Demmons, Jessica Newcomb, Christina Demmons, Erica Demmons, Shana Demmons, Luke Demmons, Derek Bedami, Kane, Emily, Lucas Stevenson. He was loved by many extended family members and friends. A special friend, Paul Restivo Jr. of Brunswick. He was predeceased by his mother, Norma Demmons of Carmel; sister-in-law, Shirley R. Demmons, wife of Daniel W. Demmons Sr.; grandparents, Doris and Gene Demmons of Bangor, Sarah and Mike Micholowski of Florida. A memorial service honoring his life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, with Pastor Allen B. Gregory, of Bangor Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
