WOODLAND and WASHBURN – Michael Wayne Donovan, 23, died unexpectedly July 19, 2008, in Washburn. He was born Dec. 31, 1984, in Presque Isle, the son of Wayne and Marilyn (Belmain) Donovan. Michael attended Woodland schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going for long walks and riding his four-wheeler. Michael had a God given green thumb and loved to grow and care for plants. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Randy Swafford; his father and stepmother, Wayne and Gail Donovan, all of Woodland; his daughter and love of Michael’s life, Alivian Nichole Harris Donovan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Tressa and Timothy Philbrook, and Kristie Donovan, all of Caribou; his grandmothers, Elizabeth Belmain and Eva Donovan, both of Caribou; three stepbrothers, Joshua Swafford, Christopher Espling and Chad Hamilton; two stepsisters, Angela and Casandra Espling; nieces and nephews, Brandy, Jessica and Grace Donovan and Trevor Philbrook; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his grandfathers, Darrell Belmain and Loomis Donovan; and a nephew, Tristan Donovan. Friends may call noon Tuesday until the time of service, which will be held at 1 p.m. at Solid Rock Worship Center with the Rev. Myron Powell and Rev. David Sullivan officiating.
