EAST MILLINOCKET – Michael W. Hunter, 53, died Feb. 7, 2005, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1951, in East Millinocket, the son of Lawrence and Pearle (Worcester) Hunter. As a youth, Mike was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and also graduated from Schenck High School. He served in the Navy after high school and was a member of American Legion Post No. 0013. He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Yolanda; a brother, Larry and his wife, Gaby; aunts and uncles, Florence Devoe of Millinocket, George and Eleanor Worcester of Lincoln, Melvina McAdam of East Millinocket and Laura Corro of Winn; several nieces and nephews, two special friends, Randy and Carol. He was predeceased by his mother, Pearle; and his sister, Joy Coon. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket.
