PRESQUE ISLE – Mildred R. Beaulieu, 100, died Feb. 25, 2004, at a Presque Isle health-care facility. She was born in Woodland, June 20, 1903, the daughter of Oscar M. and Eda M. (Olson) Johnson. She was a member of the Presque Isle Congregational Church. Mrs. Beaulieu graduated from Caribou High School, Gorham Normal School and the University of Maine at Orono. She taught schools in Woodland, Caribou and Presque Isle for more than 40 years. She is survived by three nieces, Sylvia Everett and her husband, Eugene, of Ocala, Fla., Eloise Stoffan of Caribou, Helen Espling and her husband, Roger, of New Sweden; several grandnieces and grandnephews, three great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
