BANGOR – Milton B. Silver, 70, died Jan. 23, 2007, at a local health care facility. He was born June 3, 1936, in Bangor, the son of Abraham and Rita (Fraiman) Silver. Milton graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1954. He spent many years in retail sales in Bangor, Old Orchard and Boston. He is survived by his 102-year old mother of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother and his wife, Howard Silver and Ann, also of Bakersfield, Calif.; two aunts, Dorothy and Lillian Silver, both of Bangor; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family thanks Mike Serota, Terry LaCombe, Susan Baron and Barney Silver, for their special love and care. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Jewish Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor, with Rabbi David Cantor officiating. Interment will be at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor.
