LINCOLN – Mina M. (Crocker) Smith, 93, wife of the late Harold Smith Sr., died Nov. 12, 2003, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born in East Winn, Oct. 30, 1910, the daughter of Hersey and Susan (Trott) Crocker. Mina was a member for many, many years at the Bible Baptist Church of Lincoln, on Fleming Street. She was a housewife and mother, and worked for a period of years at the old Workman’s Nursing Home in Lincoln. She is survived by a son and his wife, Bud and Joan Smith of Lincoln; a foster son, Ernie Suiter of Livermore Falls; a sister, Elsie Preble of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Rosalie and Louise; three sisters, Lena Furrow, Ruth Buzzell and Lottie Cole; and two brothers, Robert Crocker and Amos Crocker. The family is honoring her request for no funeral services. Interment will be in Lincoln Center Cemetery. Arrangements with Clay Funeral home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
