FRANKLIN – Myron A. Smith, 85, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at a Hancock health-care facility. He was born April 13, 1920, in Sherman, the son of Lloyd H. and Helen M. (St. John) Smith. Myron was an Army veteran of World War II. He greatly enjoyed four wheeling, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Myron was a long time member of the Franklin Veteran’s Club in Franklin. He is survived by three children, Candice Braley and her husband, Clayton, of Holden, Andy Smith of Hancock, and Joey Smith and his wife, Tina, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Matthew, Shane, and Cayla; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will also be missed by special friends, Steve and Karen Davis of Franklin. Myron was predeceased by two wives, Ruth (Stevens) Smith, and Dorothy (Butler) Smith. At his request, services will be private. Gifts in memory of Myron may be sent to the Franklin Veteran’s Club, P.O. Box 66, Franklin, ME 04634. Cremation arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
