BANGOR – Myron Rosario Turcotte, 78, husband of Frances (Kavanagh) Turcotte, passed away Feb. 21, 2007, at Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor. He was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Haverhill, Mass., a son of Donat H. and Teresa C. (Remy) Turcotte. Mr. Turcotte attended Haverhill, Mass., schools and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He served in the National Defense Service and United Nations Service for three years and retired as an analyst with the Department of Defense, National Security Administration Intelligence, Fort Meade, Md., with 35 years of service. In addition to his wife of 37 years, Frances, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brendan and Janel Turcotte and their daughter, Rachel of Dacono, Colo.; two brothers, Donat L. Turcotte and wife, Vera and Robert H. Turcotte and wife, Toni, all of Haverhill, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Lequin, pastor, presider. Friends may visit with the family 11:30 a.m. Friday until departure for St. Mary’s at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Private interment will be in the New Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta. In lieu of flowers of memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund, Maine Veterans’ Home, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401.
