DEXTER – Nancy A. Peachey, 57, went into the loving arms of her Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Oct. 17, 2003. She was born April 20, 1946, at Dexter, a daughter of Leon and Elizabeth (Robichaud) Field. She attended Dexter schools and was employed at Crown Alexander, Amos Abbott and Guilford Industries woolen mills. She was a faithful member of the New Life Baptist Church in Dover-Foxcroft, where she especially loved working as a leader in both the Master Clubs program for children, and the Best Years Club ministry for those 50 years old and up. She was predeceased by her brother, Bruce Field. Nancy shared many wonderful blessings with those who knew and loved her. Her strength and courage will leave many memories to forever cherish. Nancy is survived by her husband of 37 years, John of Dexter; a daughter, Holly and husband, Clifton Childers Jr., of Dexter; a sister, Jean and husband, Clayton Johndro, of Lincoln; a grandson, Patrick; two aunts, Carolyn Burton and Maxine Schissler; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces, uncles, cousins. Nancy was also very fond of her pastor, David Ireland and wife, Rose. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, with the Rev. David Ireland officiating.
