DANFORTH – Nellie P. Morton, 70, died June 9, 2006, in Presque Isle. She was born July 7, 1935, in Danforth, the daughter of Elmer and Althea (Speight) Robinson. She graduated from Danforth High School, Class of 1953 and was a select person for the town of Danforth. She is survived by two children, Douglas S. and his wife, Tammy Morton, of Windham and Holly and her husband, Gary Thompson, of Milo; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four siblings, John and his wife, Maxine Robinson, of Dover, Mary L. Estabrook of Houlton, Althea P. Casanova of Danforth and Theodore E. and his wife, Becky Robinson, of Stetson; several nieces, nephews; and her extended family, the children and grandchildren of Horatio and Cecelia Mailman; also the children and grandchildren of Brydon and Phoebe Lee. Nellie was truly blessed in having many relatives and friends and we were blessed in having her. She was our rock and will be sadly missed by many. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Danforth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital, P.O.
