SINCLAIR – Nelson G. Levesque Sr., beloved son of Alyre and Jeanne (Violette) Levesque passed away July 11, 2004, at his home in Sinclair, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Nelson G. Levesque Sr. was born Jan. 20, 1946, in Van Buren. He worked in Connecticut, and Presque Isle, as a steelworker and welder until a tragic accident in 1976 left him partially disabled at a young age. Nelson is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Sirois) Marquis of Madawaska. Nelson loved life and kept busy with hobbies, boating and enjoyed the serenity of his lakeside home. Nelson is survived by two daughters, Yvonne and her husband, Brad Doyle, of Burlington, Conn., and Kim Louise Levesque of Tampa, Fla.; and his son, Nelson G. Levesque Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Tanya Marquis of Portland, and Susan Marquis of Fort Kent; six grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Jonathan Doyle, Ryan and Heather Everett (Kim Levesque) and Krystal Levesque (Nelson Levesque Jr). He is also survived by two brothers, Richard Levesque and Alyre Levesque Jr. and his wife, Debbie, all of Van Buren; six sisters, Viola Ketch of Lewiston, Marie Ange and her husband, Dave Hartsgrove, of Waterboro, Claudia and her husband, Jim Thibodeau, of Van Buren, Lou Anne and her husband, Clement Skidgel, of Woodland, and Germaine Levesque of Van Buren; along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his mother in January 2004; his father in January 1960; and by his sister, Verna in 1995. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Michaud’s Funeral Home, St. Agatha, and 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at St. Agatha Catholic Church. Those who wish may donate in his memory to the Edgar J.
