WYTOPITLOCK – Nina E. (Cook ) Hanington, 91, wife of the late Roland N. Hanington, passed away after a long illness, Nov. 25, 2005, at Houlton Regional Hospital. She was born April 29, 1914, in Springfield, the daughter of Edgar and Annie (Milroy) Cook. Nina loved fishing, berrying and dandelions. She is survived by her three daughters, Margaret and Ancel Gillis and their two children, Bradley and Brenda; Lorraine and Richard Higgins; and Rosemarie and Lloyd Tuck and their four children, Karen, Alan, Evan and Glen; and Aaron Hanington’s three children, Christine, Lori, and Annette; 16 great-grandchildren, and nine great- great-grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Hanington and a half sister, Helen Munson. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Aaron Hanington; four brothers, and one sister. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay Funeral Home Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Rd., Danforth. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Waite officiating. Interment will be in the Danforth Cemetery. A get together with refreshments will follow at the Weston Grange Hall.
