NORWAY – Norman E. Whitley, 67, died May 25, 2006, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, where he had lived for a year and a half. He had lived in Millis, Mass. for 28 years working at the General Motors Assembly plant in Framingham, Mass. He retired, and he and his wife moved to Mauston, Wis. until he got ill and moved back to Maine where he had grown up. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of 45 years; three children, Jonnie Sue Martellio of Salem, N.J., Lisa Marie MacDonald of Millis, Mass., and Fred Peterson of Wise, Wis. He had 10 grandchildren, Robert D. Martellio of Uxbridge, Mass., Christopher Martellio, TJ MacDonald, David MacDonald, Hannah MacDonald, and Whitley MacDonald, all of Millis, Mass., Laura Krowiorz, Fred Peterson Jr., A.J. Peterson, and Ashley Peterson, all of Wisconsin. He had one sister, Faye Willey of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Donald Whitley of Lincoln, Paul Whitley of Gardiner and Herbert Whitley of Pittsfield. He also had six great-grandchildren.
