FORT KENT – Odette L. Landry, 69, died June 7, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 6, 1935, in St. Francios, New Brunswick, the daughter of Albenie and Therese (Nadeau) Albert. Odette enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, cooking and playing jokes on the ones she loved. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Omer Landry in 1997. She is survived by one son, Danny and his wife, Mary Landry of St. Francis; five daughters, Mrs. Philip Jr. (Joyce) Jalbert of Fort Kent, Mrs. Jim (Betty) Dumond of Portage, Mrs. Brian (Louise) Caron, Mrs. Kevin (Co-Co) Ouellette, and Mrs. Dale (Tessie) Morin, all of Fort Kent; two brothers, Murray Daigle of Montreal, Quebec and Mark Albert of Ottawa, Canada; four sisters, Muriel Long of Clair, N.B., Marge Albert of Ottawa Canada, Connie Albert of Ottawa, Canada and Robby Willienen of Clair, N.B.; 12 grandchildren, David Dube, Kristian and Nicholas Jalbert, Denise Plourde, Kelly and Kathy Caron, Betsy and Matthew Taggett, Baby Landry on the way, Dylan Ouellette, Lynn, Jacob and Jessica Morin; several nieces and nephews and a very dear and special friend, Lloyd Dumond. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one brother, Jean-Louis Albert. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home in Fort Kent 7-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. until the time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent with the Rev. Scott Mower officiating. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
