WALDO – Ola E. Ward, 81, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Castle Hill, the daughter of Clinton and Jessie (Page) Carter. Ola enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and puzzle books. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles Ward; brothers, Roger and Dwight Carter; and a sister, Marjorie Carter. Ola is survived by two sons, Dennis Ward and his wife, Linda, and Allen Ward and his wife, Brenda; a daughter, Patricia Hunt and her husband, Otto; a brother, Floyd Carter and his wife, Harriet; four grandchildren, Terry Ward and his wife, Lisa, Eddie Ward and his wife, Christle, Thomas Ward and his wife, Tabitha, and Amanda Ward; and five great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave, Belfast. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
