PROSPECT HARBOR – Olive L. Hoffman, 99, died peacefully March 25, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Nov. 29, 1908, in Steuben, the daughter of Frank and Hannah (Huckins) Colewell. Olive was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Beverly Duplessis of Corinth; her grandson, Christopher R. Smith of Bangor; her granddaughter, Kimberly J. Fitzpatrick of Veazie; and two great-grandsons, John and Joshua Fitzpatrick. Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring at Birch Harbor Cemetery, Birch Harbor. The family wishes to express their thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Westgate Manor and for being part of her family for the past year.
