In Loving Memory Of OWEN P. JACKSON Oct. 26, 1943 – Dec. 27, 2003 A year has passed since you left us, but not a day passes that you are not thought of. You were such a special man, a true inspiration and loved by so many. The grandchildren still ask about their Grampy and even the young ones have such nice memories. Your death has left many broken hearts, and somehow, time doesn’t seem to be easing the pain from that loss. When Ricky stopped driving the “Tide Ride” we knew how disappointed you would be, but now we will root for him in the truck series. When the Red Sox won the World Series, we knew how happy you would be. When the leaves were so beautiful this fall we knew how much you would have loved to see them. And when the first snow came we knew you would agree it was too soon. So you see, no matter where we look, or what we see, you are always in our thoughts. You even had a deer walk right up to your marker at the cemetery after the first snow fall, and we couldn’t help but think how special that was. Your kindness, compassion, love and fighting spirit will forever be in our memories. Your entire family, children and grandchildren send their love and want you to know you are missed so much. My heart is truly broken and the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that a breath away is not far to where you are! With each falling star I know you are sending me a special message. Thank you for all you gave, and the inspiration you still are. You are gone, but not forgotten. With love, wife, Nancy, children, Warren, Jamie, Leslie, step-son, Jeff, the grandchildren, Percy and your entire family
