WINTERPORT – Pamela A. (Ouellette) Gilmore, 58, the loving wife for 33 years of Alton L. Gilmore Jr. passed away peacefully May 20, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born April 27, 1947, in Winterport, the daughter of Albert Joseph Ouellette and Marguerite (Rancourt) Ouellette. Pamela was a lifelong resident of Winterport, graduating from the Winterport School System in 1966. She worked for 15 years for poultry companies in Belfast, then became a stay-at-home wife. Pamela was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church of Winterport; the Daughters of Isabella; the Rebekahs; and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, reading, watching movies and playing with her two cats. She was predeceased by her father, Albert Joseph Ouellette. Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Alton L. Gilmore Jr. of Winterport; her mother and stepfather, Marguerite and Pat Arrants of Florida; two brothers, Rodney Ouellette and his wife, Deanna of Winterport, Peter Ouellette and his wife, Sandy of Arizona; two sisters, Loretta Jehlicka and her husband, Richard, of New Hampshire, and Patrice Dupuis of Virginia. She will be sadly missed by many of her nieces and nephews who called her Auntie Pam; and by aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins. She especially will be missed by her Godchildren, Jeffrey and Hillary Gilmore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2005, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Winterport, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt, pastor celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Memorial contributions for Pamela may be made to St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 280, Hampden, ME 04444-0280.
