OLD TOWN – Pattilou “Patti” A. Scott, 51, wife of Fred Scott died Aug. 15, 2004, at a Bangor hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1953, in Old Town, a daughter of Clarence and Bessie (Ramsey) Nadeau. At an early age, she was adopted and raised by Patrick and Lucy Dufour. Patti was employed at Big L Discount in Old Town, Diamond International, and for several years operated a Day Care business from her home. She enjoyed boating, fishing, campfires, parties, and especially children. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Fred Scott of Old Town; two children, Fred Scott III and his companion, Sara, of Hampden; a daughter, Nicole Wheldon and her husband, Jason, of Brewer; two grandchildren, Mason Bradley Scott and Katelyn Eliza Wheldon; two sisters, Jane Wickett and her husband, Lloyd, of Florida, Janice Belcher and her husband, Ed, of Bucksport; a “special son”, Tyler Pembroke of Veazie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Alice Reynolds. A celebration of Patti’s life will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Ron Chaffee, officiating.
