WINTER HARBOR – Paul L. Davis, 55, died Monday, April 24, 2006, at his home, after a long illness. He was born April 30, 1950, in Jonesboro, the son of the late Russel and Stella (Smith) Davis. Mr. Davis attended and graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He worked for several years as a carpenter in the construction industry before receiving an injury that disabled him 20 years ago. Mr. Davis enjoyed fishing and reading. He shared 10 years of marriage with Nancy (Pettegrow) Davis. In addition to his wife, family members include his children, Melissa Norton of Massachusetts, Kirk Davis and Melinda Davis, both of Bangor and Estella Ramolt and her husband, Edward, of Pittsburg, Pa.; two stepchildren, Christopher Look of Milbridge and April Look of Winter Harbor; five grandchildren, Jacob Parsons, Jordanna Sprague, Kimberly Ramolt, Catlyn Davis and Kristina Ramolt; and four stepgrandchildren, Brett Pottle, Morgan Look, Britny Look, and Jessica Look; two brothers, Milton Davis of Hawaii and Roger Davis of Connecticut; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
