SEMINOLE, Fla. – Charlotte Currie, 87, formerly of Bangor, and Belmont, Mass., died April 18, 2006 in Seminole, Fla. She was born July 23, 1918, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Henry and Lily Ruth (Crawford) Chisholm. She married Darrel Currie of Hartland. They lived in Bangor for several years while Darrel was a special agent in the FBI. They later moved to Belmont, Mass. and retired to South Yarmouth, Mass. and Florida in 1977. Charlotte was a devoted and loving wife and mother and an avid reader and bridge player. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Darrel; and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Kotsonis, of Venice, Fla.; her daughter, Barbara MacKenzie and her husband, Hugh, of Madison, Conn.; and their two daughters, Kristen and Kerry; and by her son, Dr. Allan D. Currie and his wife, Linda, of Bangor and their three children, Sarah, Eliza and Peter; and by three great-grand-children, Madeline and Julia Donahue and Arthur Currie. Funeral services were held in Seminole, Fla. Internment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Bangor.
