LIMESTONE and CASWELL – Elizabeth R. Caldwell, 77, wife of the late Andrew J. Caldwell, died Monday evening, April 24, 2006, at a Caribou healthcare facility, after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 9, 1929, at Limestone, the daughter of William A. and Leonora (Parent) True. Elizabeth attended Limestone schools and was a communicant of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. She was married to Andrew J. Caldwell Dec. 27, 1945. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caldwell was predeceased by her husband June 24, 2003; one daughter, Marie Evans; one brother, Morris True; one sister, Sylvia True. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Gail Caldwell, Andy and Rea Caldwell, Randy and Sheila Caldwell; one daughter, Mary Lou Caldwell, all of Limestone; one son-in-law, Billy Evans of Springville, Tenn.; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman and Marcia True of Windsor Locks, Conn., William and Theresa True of Fort Fairfield, Linwood and Bernice True of Limestone, Gregory and Carolyn True of Fort Fairfield; eight grandchildren, Robbie Caldwell, Scott Caldwell and his wife, Jamie, all of Limestone, Jon Evans and his wife, Nicole, of Caribou, Hollie Beaulieu and her husband, Rick, Jesse Caldwell, Leah Caldwell, Lisa and Randy Caldwell, all of Limestone; six great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan and Christopher Caldwell, all of Limestone, Andrew and Alissa Evans, both of Caribou, Sierra Beaulieu of Limestone; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where a vigil service will be conducted 8:30 p.m. by the Rev. David Raymond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, 100 Main St., Limestone with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant. Interment will take place at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone immediately following the funeral Mass. The Caldwell family invites relatives and friends to share continued fellowship and refreshments at the St. Louis Catholic Church reception area, immediately following the interment service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Caldwell to the Jefferson Cary Foundation, P.O. Box 89, Caribou, ME 04736. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
