MILLINOCKET – Paul Michael Roach, 53, died Aug. 9, 2004, after a short illness at his camp on Caucomgomoc Lake. He was born June 5, 1951, to the late James H. Roach Jr. and the late Lauraine S. (Howieson) Roach. Paul was educated in Bangor Catholic schools and also attended the University of Maine. He lived in Boca Raton, Fla. for a short time and was employed in the entertainment industry for the past 10 years. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the great outdoors and wilderness. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Millinocket and was also a member of the American Legion, where he volunteered for many functions. He is survived by a son, Christopher M. Roach M.D. and his wife, Kari; and a beloved grandson, Andrew James all of Nebraska; In addition, he is survived by a brother, John H. Roach and wife, Deborah, of Holden; a sister, Donna Roach Goodine and her life long partner, Ricky A. Adams, of Hermon; several nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by very special friends, Buddy, Billy, Ronnie, and Alfie. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 26, 2004, at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Millinocket. A reception to celebrate Paul’s life will follow the service in the church hall.
