NASHUA, N.H. – Paul P. Lozier Sr., 64, died Monday morning, Oct. 23, 2006, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, after having lost his most recent battle with lung cancer. He was born Feb. 14, 1942, in Old Town, a son of the late Joseph and Louise (Morin) Lozier. He had resided in Nashua, N.H., since 1968. Previously, he had resided in Bradley. He was the husband of Patricia (Latno) Lozier, whom he married Oct. 12, 1963, in Bradley. They shared 43 years of marriage. Mr Lozier was a meat cutter by trade and worked at the former Alexander’s Market, Nashua, N.H.; Butcher Boy Meat Market, Salem, N.H.; Lozier’s Meat Shop, Nashua, N.H.; and at Shaw’s Supermarket. Mr. Lozier finished his career by working in the deli department at Shaw’s. He enjoyed his family and doing yard work. Mr. Lozier was a daily patron of Dunkin Donuts. He also enjoyed his co-workers and would often spend his time off at Shaw’s. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man, who had a witty sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. Mr. Lozier was predeceased by his stepfather, George DeRoche; and his father-in-law, Raymond Latno. In addition to his wife of 43 years, survivors include his son, Paul P. Lozier Jr. of Nashua, N.H.; a daughter, Gayle Lozier of North Wolcott, Vt., and her very dear friend, Tim Tyler, of Hudson, N.H.; a grandson, Justin Lozier of Brookline, N.H.; a former daughter-in-law, Deborah Lozier of Brookline, N.H.; his siblings, Frederick and Gloria Lozier of Merrimack, N.H., Francis Lozier of Salem, N.H., Pauline and John Mydosh of Pennsylvania and Charles and Frances Lozier of Washington state; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pamela and Daniel Linton of Pocomoke, Md., and Raymond and Laurie Latno of Derry, N.H.; his mother-in-law, Yvonne Lyons and her husband, Harrison, of Bradley; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher Parish, 62 Manchester St., Nashua, N.H. Friends are invited to attend and asked to gather at the church. Interment prayers and burial will be after the service in Nashua, N.H. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation to United Spinal Association, 24 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086.
