LEE – Paul R. Blake, 69, husband of Patricia (Morrison) Blake, died Aug. 28, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1936, in Lee, the son of Paul Colson Blake and Lillian “Bashie” May Noyes Blake. Paul was a graduate of Lee Academy. He was a member of the Local 496 Ironworkers. He worked holidays and vacations for years and all the shutdowns he could take. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved gardening. In addition to his wife of 42 years, Patricia, of Lee, he is survived by six children, Kenny Paul Worster and his wife, Rachel, of Lee, Jolene Blood and her husband, Jim, of Wilton, Andrea Adams and her husband, Murray, of East Millinocket, Gary Blake and his wife, Elaine, of Hampden, Laurie Blake of Farmington and Adria Yock and her husband, Ed, of Baileyville; four sisters, Susan Oliver, Joan Scribner, Irene Charette, all of Lee, and Madeline Trask of Wilton; 10 grandchildren, Lance Dube, Robert Blake, Isaac Blood, Ben Blood, Ashley Blake, Ryan Blake, Paul Worster, Adria Drinkwater, Brooke Arthers and Katy Arthers; a great-grandson, Stephon Dube; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a step-son, Hernon “Sonny” Arthers III; and a sister, Adria Worster. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 and 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Vince Hartford officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee.
