BANGOR – Pauline Guy Pelletier, 82, went to be with her Lord May 5, 2006, after being cared for by the wonderful staff at Westgate Manor, Bangor. She was surrounded in love by her children, as they released her into His loving arms. She was their sunshine and they greatly adored her. They sang her favorite song, “You Are My Sunshine” as they said good-bye. They look forward with to reuniting with her someday. She was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Fort Kent, the seventh child of Alphee and Elodie (St. Germaine) Guy. She was a 1941 graduate and Valedictorian of Fort Kent High School. She was predeceased by her husband, who she married Nov. 7, 1944, Phillip Pelletier of Fort Kent. She is survived by her children, Virginia Pelletier of Bangor, Margaret Herrmann of Agoura, Calif., Gloria Buergey of Eugene, Ore., Charles Pelletier of Colorado Springs, Colo., Paul Pelletier of Albuquerque, N.M., Michelle Pelletier, Patti Pelletier, Peter Pelletier, Andrea Pelletier, and Joe Pelletier, all of Bangor; also 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also siblings, Gloria, Norman, Robert, Florence, Carmen, Louie, Rolande, George and Lillian. Viewing will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Foley’s Funeral Home. A Mass will be held 4 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The burial will be private on Tuesday. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey.
