KENDUSKEAG – Pauline M. Raymond, 74, the wife of Augustin Raymond, died Nov. 6, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of Willis and Gertrude (Ouellette) Soucie. She had worked as a substitute teacher and a nurse’s aide. Surviving, in addition to her husband of Kenduskeag, are a son, Joe Mitton and his wife, Elaine, of Bangor; a daughter, Bernie Nason and her husband, Jim, of Plantsville, Conn.; three grandchildren, Joey Mitton of Corinna, Jacob Mitton of Bangor and Jimmy Nason of St. Cloud, Fla.; a precious great-grandson, Jeremy Nason of New Britain, Conn.; three brothers, Gilman Soucy of Enfield, Conn., Malcolm Soucy of Plainville, Conn., and Norman Soucy of Bangor; a sister, Aldine Stramel of Windsor Lock, Conn.; and special friends, Adam and Denice Collins of Frankfort. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where friends may call 9 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at the Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta.
