BUCKSPORT – Pauline (Gray) Dorr, 83, died peacefully Dec. 1, 2006, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Orland, the daughter of J. Clifton and Hazel (Kidder) Gray. Pauline graduated from Bucksport High School and Beal College, Bangor. She enjoyed knitting, bingo, going to the Grange with her friends, and was a wonderful seamstress. Pauline loved Florida during the winter and having her grandchildren come for a visit. She is survived by her four children, Linda Gibbs and her husband, Albert, of Belfast, Beth (Dorr) Jones of Salt Lake City, Robert Dorr and his wife, Kathy, of Greenville and Ellen Dorr of California; one sister-in-law, Abby Billings of Florida; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Grover S. Dorr in 1998; two daughters, Peggy-Jean Dorr in 1977 and Melody Freilino in 1981. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Linda Smith officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport.
