WINN – Pearl E. Hoyt, 73, wife of the late Walter Hoyt, went home to be with the Lord, after a short illness, Oct. 30, 2005, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born April 6, 1932, in Laconia, N.H., and was the daughter of the late Arthur Rollins and the late Marion (Jordan) Clairmont. Pearl loved to play bingo, and was a member of the “Beano Buddies.” She loved yard sales, visitors, hunting and fishing, but most of all she loved her family. She will be lovingly missed by her family. She is survived by eight children, Gary Clairmont of New Hampshire, Juanita Burden and Jerry of Texas, Deborah Brickett and Scott of California, Robert Barrett of New Hampshire, Bonnie Wyman and Craig of Winn, Rose Rhoades and Barry of Lee, Walter Hoyt and Elizabeth and Terry Hoyt and Katherine, all of Winn; two stepchildren, Francis Hoyt and Cheryl, and Francine Hoyt and J.D., all of New Hampshire; seven brothers and sisters, Lloyd Rollins of Pennsylvania, Harvey Uhlenberg of Florida, Evelyn Forsyth of Illinois, Dorothy Gagne of Lebanon, Maine, Minnie Bickford of New Hampshire, Florence Jewett of Texas, and Bunny Blais of North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her long time and loving friend, Charlie Murphy. In addition to her husband, Walter; she was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Poirrier. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Winn Cemetery.
