BANGOR – Pearl Joanna (Blomberg) Cunningham, of Bangor, wife of the late Irving E. Cunningham Sr., died July 15, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was employed for 31 years at the Bangor Mental Health Institute, was a life time member of the Forest Avenue Congregational Church, Ladies Aid and a member of the Sunshine Club for Children. Surviving are four sons, Irving E. Cunningham Jr. of Bangor, Richard Cunningham of Mariatta, Ga., Charles Cunningham of Lebanon, Conn., and Larry Cunningham of Corinth; three daughters, Joanna Medley of Union Falls, Ind., Joyce Tocci of Brunswick, and Janice Martin of Port Angeles, Wash.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Follett of Glenburn; one brother, Clyde Blomberg of Maumelle, Alaska; one aunt, Dorothy Getchell of Brewer; several nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Cunningham; and one brother, Charles Blomberg of Connecticut. At her request there will be a private interment for the family only at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
