PRESQUE ISLE – Pearl Laura Metrick, 83, wife of the late Simon J. Metrick, died Sept. 17, 2004, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Bridgewater, the daughter of Frank and Mae (Derrah) Clair. Pearl was a beloved mother, nana and Nana P. with a boundless amount of unconditional love for her family. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Larmie of West Palm Beach, Fla., Sandra Henderson and a special son-in-law, Richard Henderson and Sheila Metrick, all of Presque Isle; five grandchildren, Lisa Moran, Lauri Moran, Lynnae Davis, Kelly Garrison and husband, Aaron, Kim Allen and husband, Chris; eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Nashali Parks, Mattea Davis, Joseph, Christen, and Mason Allen, Noah and Laura Shay Garrison There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Blackstone officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
