LITTLETON – Percy Carmichael “Jr.”, 73, of Littleton died April 10, 2005, at Houlton. He was born June 16, 1931, in Monticello the son of Percy and Isabelle (Folsom) Carmichael Sr. Jr. was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as an avid Horsepuller and woodsman. He married Sadie Richards Nov. 8, 1950. In addition to his wife of Littleton, he is survived by seven children, Percy L. and his wife, Karen Carmichael, Raymond and his wife, Melanie Carmichael, Linda and her husband, Otis Shaw, all of Littleton, Candy and her husband, Scotty Nevers, of Merrill, Dell and his wife, Karen Carmichael, Milford and his wife, Lisa Carmichael, all of Littleton and Rodney Carmichael and his fianc?e, Fran Sabatis, of Houlton; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Nason and Bea Little both of Linneus, Maxine Thibodeau of Littleton and Priscilla Dow of Houlton. He was predeceased by his parents, one great-granddaughter, Jenna Harris; and one sister, Nettie Thibodeau. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with Gordan Hagerman Officiating. Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery.
