CARIBOU and CEDAR HILL, Texas – Perry Allen Haywood, 70, of Cedar Hill, Texas, went to be with Jesus July 26, 2007, at Methodist Hospital, Dallas, after a brief illness. He was born June 10, 1937, in Holcomb, Mo. Perry enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in June 1955 and retired in 1975 at Dyress Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas. During this time, he was stationed in France, England, Vietnam and temporary duties in 19 countries. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 111. After retiring as a national veteran, Perry became a professional, commercial truck driver and traveled in 47 states of the United States. Perry was a very hard working and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved to cook, travel, camp, hunt and fish. He leaves to mourn his wife, Bonnie Nedeau Haywood, daughter of Wilbur and Janette Nedeau; two sons, Dean and Dale of Cedar Hill, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Morrow of Jonesboro, Ark., Theresa Musgrove of Farmington, Mo., and Pamela Sterling of New Berg, Ore.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two brother-in-laws, Donald and Ronald Nedeau of Limestone. Services were held at Abundant Life Assembly of God, Grand Prairie, Texas. Burial with military honors was at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
