MILLINOCKET – Peter A. Langevin, 56, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at a Togus Nursing Home. Peter was born April 5, 1948, in New Hartford, Conn., the son of Albert and Pearl (Shepard) Langevin. Peter graduated from Northwestern Regional High School in 1966. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he proudly served his country from April 2, 1969 to March 25, 1971. He was a life member of the Francis E. Elliott Post No. 4154, VFW and the Donald V. Henry Post No. 80 American Legion both of Millinocket. Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, building, and cribbage. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Aime; his friends, Tom and Sharon Rideout; his God son, Jeremy Rideout; friends, Peter Perry, Lew Pelkey, and Karen Walsh, and many more friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Pearl. There will be a celebration of his life 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at the VFW hall in Millinocket. The miracle of friendship… There’s a miracle called “friendship” that dwells within the heart, and you don’t know how it happens or when it gets its start…but the happiness it brings you, always gives a special lift, and you realize that “friendship” is god’s most precious gift!
