NEW CANADA – Peter J. Daigle, 39, died unexpectedly, Sept. 5, 2005. He was born April 12, 1966, in Fort Kent, the son of Norman and Gilmay (Theriault) Daigle. Peter was a past member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus of Fort Kent, president of the Sly Brook Snow Riders Snowmobile Club and present owner of Lake Road Grocery. He is survived by his parents of New Canada; his brothers and sisters, Nelson Daigle and his wife, Rita, of New Canada, Jeannine Hobbins and her husband, Dave, of Fort Kent, Bob Daigle and his wife, Cheryl, of New Canada, Eric Daigle and his wife, Joni, of Fort Kent, Claude Daigle and his wife, Cheryl, of Harwich, Mass., Don Daigle and his wife, Donna, of Canton, Ron Daigle and his friend, Kristen, of Harwich, Mass., John Daigle and his wife, Nola, of New Canada, Jim Daigle of Fort Kent, Tammy Paradis and her husband, Greg, of New Canada; his godfather, James Bouchard; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by one nephew, Adam Daigle. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. Saturday until time of service at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal service will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Soldier Pond. Those who wish may donate in his memory to the Adam Daigle Scholarship Fund, care of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Daigle, 710 New Canada Rd., New Canada, ME 04743. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
