Jan. 23, 1918 – Feb. 20, 2007 A year ago today, we awoke to just another day. We ended that day reeling from the shock of losing you so unexpectedly. The months to come were filled with memories and a longing to talk to you one more time. Sudden loss takes away the opportunity to say goodbye to someone you love so much. In our hearts we know you understood how much you meant to us. Your wisdom, patience and unconditional love gave us a father who couldn’t have been loved more than we loved you. Your advice was built on a lifetime of experience and your concern for everyone. Your help was given frequently and without conditions. Your love for us was apparent in everything you said and did. We wish we could tell you one more time what a wonderful father you were and how grateful we are for having been blessed with you in our lives.
