BANGOR and OLD TOWN Philip E. Dubay, 81, passed away peacefully Oct. 10, 2007. He was born May 23, 1926, in Old Town, the son of Frederick and Susan (Martin) Dubay. Phil owned an operated Phil’s Autobody and auto sales for more than 30 years. He was also a longtime member of Old Town Rotary and Elks Lodge. Phil enjoyed camping and traveling in his motor home. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Linda; sons, Michael and James; brother, Alfred; and nephew, Arnold. Phil is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Dorothy Shinnick Dubay; sisters, Alfreda Borkowski and Marion Nolan; nephews, Gene and Kevin; and nieces, Carol, Marlene and Pam. Visiting hours will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, until the time of service at Birmingham Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m. with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating. Interment will be held after at St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are invited after the services to the home of Alfreda Borkowski, 463 Stillwater Ave., Old Town, for a light luncheon.
