EDDINGTON and BROOKSVILLE, FLA. – Philip E. Libbey, 67, formerly of Eddington, passed away Feb. 27, 2004, at his residence in Brooksville, Fla. Born in Bangor, he moved to Florida after retiring as a cable splicer for New England Telephone Co. He was predeceased by a son, Aaron. He is survived by his wife, Tina; a son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Wanda Libbey of Eddington; two daughters, Colleen of Eddington and Carrie of South Portland; five grandchildren Melissa, Kevin, Adam, Philip, and Alexander; two great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Eddington in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice, Brooksville, Fla. 34601.
