HOULTON – Philomena M. Cooper, 95, died Sept. 29, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1912, in Steubenville, Ohio, daughter of Carmen and Susan DeMarco. Philomena was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. She leaves many friends at Madigan Estates Healthcare Facility. Philomena is survived by her son, Gerald Thomas of Smyrna Mills; five grandchildren; a brother, Joseph DeMarco; a sister, Rose Pace, both of Steubenville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Larry. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church.
