MILLINOCKET and NORTH. ANSON – Phyllis D. Gould, 86, died Feb. 19, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born April 2, 1917, in Haynesville, the oldest daughter of Clayton and Pearl (Tuck) Malone. She was a resident of North Anson before moving to Millinocket to be near her son and family. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Rebekahs, and the Grange. She is survived by her son, Elwin Malone and his wife, Donna; her grandchildren, Scott Malone of Ellsworth, Lori Farmer and husband, Robert, of Norridgewock, and James Malone of Millinocket; her great-grandchildren, Aaron Malone of Ellsworth, and Matthew, Ashleigh, and Brian Farmer, all of Norridgewock; her sisters, Kay Bartlett of Center Strafford, N.H., Nina Bell of Dover, N.H., Essie McCannell of Bradley, and Barbara Aldrich of Brewer; her brothers, Allen Malone of Millinocket and Cedric Malone of Anson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Loris Gould; her parents; and brothers, Parker, Ellsworth, Anson, Claude, Lester, Clyde, and Marvin. Graveside services will be held in the spring in North Anson.
