DERRY, N.H. – Priscilla (Copeland) Stewart, RN, 65, quietly slipped away July 30, 2008, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, N.H. Mrs. Stewart was born Oct. 7, 1942, at her grandmother’s home in Lincoln Center, a daughter of the late Searle E. and Madeline (McLaughlin) Flanders. Her compassion for others allowed her to excel in her nursing career in the maternity and delivery rooms. She was very proud of all the new faces she helped introduce into the world in her 20-plus year career at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her adoring husband, Dale G. Stewart of Derry, N.H.; one son, Brian Copeland and his wife, Wendy, and their foster children of Mapleton; one brother, Darrell and his wife, Sheila, of Lincoln; her three stepchildren, Dale Stewart Jr. and his wife, Brenda, and their children, Megan, Cameron, and a great-grandson, Jayden of Weare, N.H., Melissa Goodsell and her husband, Chuck, and their children, Torey and Brandon of Clinton, Mass., and Mason Stewart of Nashua, N.H. Calling hours will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, N.H. where a memorial service will be held 5 p.m. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Grant Memorial Methodist Church, Presque Isle, with a reception after in the church fellowship hall.
