FRANKFORT – Priscilla Gilmore, 74, formerly of Frankfort, died June 2, 2005, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., after a long illness. She was born March 24, 1931, in Dixmont, daughter of Harold and Marion Palmer. She married Leo Gilmore of Roscoe, N.Y. in 1953, who predeceased her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered as a caring and compassionate person. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Frances and Maynard ‘Buddy’ Wescott, Anna and Dale Hall, Jo-Ann and Greg Morin; grandchildren, Joseph and Melody Sanborn, Toni and Greg Philbrick, April Sanborn, Elizabeth Wescott, Yvonne and Bill Gray, Lorraine Koch, Jason Hall, William Hall; great-grandchildren, AJ Koch, William Koch, Christopher Koch, Catherine Koch, Nickolas Philbrick, Bianca L’Italien, Keegan L’Italien, Bryton Sanborn, Kiley Koch; a brother and his wife, Chancy and Lena Palmer; brother-in-law, Robert Gilmore; sisters-in-law, Madolin Michaletz, Joyce Palmer, Olive Palmer, Bruna Palmer; and a special cousin and his wife, Floyd and Jean Sparrow; longtime special family friends, Aaron and Eva Blethen; many beloved nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, with the Reverands Art and Suzie Gowie, pastors of the Waldo County Cooperative Ministry, officiating.
