FRANKFORT – Priscilla Gilmore, 74, formerly of Frankfort, died June 2, 2005, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., after a long illness. She was born March 24, 1931, in Dixmont, daughter of Harold and Marion Palmer. She married Leo Gilmore of Roscoe, N.Y. in 1953, who predeceased her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered as a caring and compassionate person. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Frances and Maynard ‘Buddy’ Wescott, Anna and Dale Hall, Jo-Ann and Greg Morin; grandchildren, Joseph and Melody Sanborn, Toni and Greg Philbrick, April Sanborn, Elizabeth Wescott, Yvonne and Bill Gray, Lorraine Koch, Jason Hall, William Hall; great-grandchildren, AJ Koch, William Koch, Christopher Koch, Catherine Koch, Nickolas Philbrick, Bianca L’Italien, Keegan L’Italien, Bryton Sanborn, Kiley Koch; a brother and his wife, Chancy and Lena Palmer; brother-in-law, Robert Gilmore; sisters-in-law, Madolin Michaletz, Joyce Palmer, Olive Palmer, Bruna Palmer; and a special cousin and his wife, Floyd and Jean Sparrow; longtime special family friends, Aaron and Eva Blethen; many beloved nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, with the Reverands Art and Suzie Gowie, pastors of the Waldo County Cooperative Ministry, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Cemetery, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Evergreen Valley Nursing Home Recreation Department, 8 Bushey Blvd. Plattsburgh, N.Y.
