BANGOR – Raffalina Mary Blaisdell, 84, wife of the late Leo J. Blaisdell, died May 24, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1921, in Bristol, R.I., the daughter of Giovanni and Geanin Trigiano. Nana’s beautiful smile will forever be in all our hearts, and with her family. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, bowling and patty cake. She is survived by four daughters, Irene Gaskell of Old Town, Elaine Blaisdell of Carmel, Eleanor Moody and her husband, Jeff, of Bradley and Leona Dorr and her significant other, John Franklin, both of Bangor; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Trigiano of Massachusetts and George Trigiano and his wife, Freda, of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; special nieces and nephew, Billy, Diane and Anna. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Kathy Day; one brother and two sisters. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor of the St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, officiating. Friends may call noon until time of service. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
