FORT FAIRFIELD – Ralph D. Pelletier, 73, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 6, 1935, in Presque Isle, the son of Dennis W. and Lillian (Anderson) Pelletier. He worked for J.J. Nissen Bakery for 44 years as a driver and supervisor. Ralph was a quiet, kind and gentle man. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a registered Maine guide, a member of search and rescue, and a volunteer firefighter for Presque Isle for many years. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (McIntosh) Pelletier of Fort Fairfield; five daughters, Lynn Craig of Presque Isle, Jeana Carter of Chapman, Lori Churchill of Fort Fairfield, Kristi Blackstone of Chesapeake, Va., and Sherie Brown of Fort Fairfield; five sons, Shane Pelletier of Presque Isle, Steven Craig of Lerena, Texas, Judd Pelletier of Miami, Scott Craig of Fort Fairfield, and Barry Craig of Topsham; a sister, Rena Henderson of Huntsville, Ala.; 19 grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Linwood Pelletier. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev.
