BANGOR and DADE CITY Fla. – Ralph J. LaForge, 77, of Bangor, and Dade City, Fla., went to be with Our Lord on Oct. 31, 2004, peacefully with his daughters at his side. Ralph was born in Old Town, son of Clement and Beatrice LaForge. He graduated from John Bapst High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Maine Central Railroad and later moved to Dade City, Fla. He is survived by daughters, Patty Brewer of Titusville, Fla., and Michelle Fiske of Margate, Fla.; loving sister, Rita Farnham of Brewer; brothers, Clayton LaForge of Cape Elizabeth, and Carl LaForge of Gilford, N.H. He also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews Gail, Carla, Paul, Lynne, Jeanne, Tina, Betsy, Barbie and Sharon; special grandnieces and grandnephews. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful and loving father by his girls. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. (352-793-7740).
