GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP Raymond G. Parent, 68, passed away May 21, 2007. He was born March 25, 1939, in St. Zacharie, Quebec, the son of Phydime and Antoinette (Bouchard) Parent. Raymond worked in the woods until he retired after an accident in 1984. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and a daily ride through the neighborhood. Raymond was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Alice Morin and Anne Marie Paquet; and brother, Bertrand Parent. He is survived by his sisters, Marie Claire Paquet and her husband, Jean Berchmans and Mary Louise Farladeau; brother, Andre Parent and his wife, Karen; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated noon Friday, May 25, at Holy Family Parish, Old Town, with the Rev. Bill Labbe, celebrant. Interment will be held after at Greenfield Cemetery, Green-field. Family and friends are invited to a reception after services at American Legion, 20 Water St., Old Town.
