MONROE – Raymond Lafayette Porter Sr., 62, died unexpectedly Jan. 13, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 29, 1942, in Bangor, the son of Lloyd Fredrick Porter and Camilla (Estey) Porter of Newburgh. All though he was taken too soon, he lived a full yet humble life. He had a real love for being outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or just sitting out in the fresh air. After retiring he enjoyed gardening with his wife and spending precious time with his family and friends.
