BREWER – Regina (Rogan) Hickson, 91, wife of the late Donald J. Hickson, died Dec. 26, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare center, following a brief illness, having lived independently through her 91st birthday. She was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Bangor the daughter of Robert J. and Sarah (Mullins) Rogan. Regina graduated from John Bapst High School and was valedictorian of her class. Following graduation she taught school in Benedicta. Regina was employed for many years in the insurance business, first by Louis Kirstein & Sons, Real Estate and Insurance Company of Bangor, then by the Francis L. Casey Insurance Co. of Brewer. She was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor. Surviving are two nieces, M. Jacqueline Williamson of Bangor, and Eleanor C. Campbell and her husband, Charles, of Brewer; one nephew, James P. Landers and his wife, Linda, of Glenburn; great-nieces, Marie B. Carolan of Wellesley, Mass., Dallas Stewart and Marnita Moran of Hampden, Melissa Ross of Carmel and Katrina Knowles of Bangor; great-nephews, Gregory A. Campbell of Hampden and Ronald Lunn of Kissimmee, Fla.; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews including Katie, Gregory and Billy. She also leaves two special neighbors and friends, Charlene and Barbara. Honoring Regina’s request a graveside service will be held in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor at a date and time to be announced. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
