MADAWASKA – Reginald Albert, 76, died Dec. 28, 2003, at an Edmundston, New Brunswick, hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Madawaska, the son of Ernest and Esther (Dionne) Albert. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Thomas O. Cyr Legion Post No. 147 of Madawaska. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Thibodeau) Albert of Madawaska; one daughter, Francine DiPaola and her husband, James of Rochester, N.Y.; one stepson, Yvon “Too” Thibodeau and his wife, Lynn, of Manchester, Conn.; five brothers, Edmund “Blackie”, Ernest Jr. “Ness”, Louis and James, all of Madawaska and Jean Paul of Wolcott, Conn.; four sisters, Claudette Levesque, Louise Grondin, and Kitt Roy, all of Madawaska, and Anne Chiasson of Houlton; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in the spring.
